My first chronological post contains medical and contact information which may be useful if I am involved in an emergency. This post is available only to people listed as my friend. It can also be viewed by any LiveJournal admin; if you are not on my friends list, you may contact one of them for assistance.

You're here presumably because you want to know a bit more about me. That's easy: just read a bit of my journal. Unfortunately, if you really want to know who I am or what makes me tick, you'll find I'm very much like the game of Go. Even with a set of the most simple values and beliefs, I'm exceedingly complicated. This is my curse.

I'd like to share with you that my heros are leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr., Ernesto "Che" Guevara, Fidel Castro (Ruz), and Mohandas "Mahatma" Gandhi. My anti-heros are Adolf Hitler, Joseph McCarthy, and George W. Bush.

At heart, I am all for the end result of Marxism. I am for equality of all people and all beliefs, so long as those people don't choose to force their beliefs on others. I also recognize that due to the human nature of greed, pure Communism is destined to failure. Communism would work if everyone in the world were like me, but I recognize that I also have flaws, and dooming everyone to them would be as horrible as dooming the revolution. What's more, for the world to become Marixst, a violent revolution would need to occur, and every person who did not believe in the Marxist paradigm would need to be killed. Since I'm also a pacifist, this goes against my grain. The end result: A Marxist state would be a desirable outcome, but I cannot agree with the means that would yield such an end. Instead, I struggle for equality wherever I see injustice.

I fear that stating that I applaud the end result of Marxism in a public forum will in some way harm my future, giving me a black mark or warranting investigation by governmental agencies. Hey, it's happened before. This is where my Libertarian traits come out... No one should live in a world where they are afraid to express their own personal beliefs. See... I'm a living paradox. I believe that we should all struggle to make everyone in the world happier and healthier. I would like to do away with anyone who believes that they have a right to "get ahead" at the expense of others.

At heart, I am a non-violent revolutionary doomed to incompletion of my full potential. You can just call me XSG. This is my personal blog. The views expressed on these pages are mine alone and not those of my employer or any organization I belong to or believe in. Finally, I'll never accept money from anyone in order to guide my perspectives about the things I write about in my journal. It's rather sad that things like this need to be said.
